The RPL Driving School Instructors

Our Driving Instructors are fully qualified ADIs and agree to abide by the DSA's code of conduct. They will always be patient and professional during your driving lessons. They have also been checked by the Criminal Records Bureau (CRB).

You will get the full driving lesson you pay for, and although it goes without saying, we will not run errands, smoke, or have anyone else in the car while you are learning.

The Driving Instructors

Hi, my name is Rob Laird and I have been teaching people to drive since I started RPL Driving in 2006. I cover driving lessons in the Chelmsford and Brentwood areas of Essex.

I have also passed my IAM advanced driving test, and now I volunteer my time as an observer for the local IAM group. I am also qualified to deliver the BTEC in Driving Science.

In the past I have also spent time teaching map reading and survival skills to Scouts, Guides and people taking their Duke Of Edinburgh Award.

My name is Sharon Reeve, and I have been a Driving Instructor since 2006, and joined a local franchise after passing my instructor's exams. In 2009 I joined RPL Driving, and as I've lived in Essex most of my life, I know the roads very well!.

I can provide driving lessons in Brentwood, Romford and Hornchurch and nearby areas of Essex. The car I use for lessons is a Ford Fiesta with a manual gearbox and petrol engine.
